Japanese Breakfast “Orlando In Love” Music Video

BTS from shooting the “Orlando In Love” music video for Japanese Breakfast’s new album For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women). All shots taken by John Blazzi. I loved the opportunity to harken to Caravaggio’s tenebrism through the lighting of our interiors. The latter half of our day added a surprise snow storm that helped the final shots of the video look uniquely stunning, but made the 100’ dolly track lay that we needed to pull off even more difficult. This whole crew was wonderful, but I must praise David Williamson (Gaffer), Dan White (Key Grip), and Darby Irrgang (1st AC) for truly making my success possible in bringing Michelle’s visuals to life.
